About the Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst for a 2-year fixed-term contract to join their Digital Business Systems team, within the Digital and Campus Services unit. This role involves providing expert services in software application integration, configuration, management, maintenance, development, and support. You'll be working on critical projects, including backfilling roles and assisting with the fit-out of their new city campus.
About You:
You are a recognised professional with a strong background in Oracle and Rest API integration. With at least five years of experience in application management, support, and development, you excel at solving complex problems and delivering successful business outcomes. You thrive in a hybrid working environment and enjoy collaborating with a diverse team of senior and junior developers.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in application management, support, and development roles, with at least 3 years in software development.
- Extensive experience in software integration, configuration, maintenance, development, and support.
- Proficiency in Oracle and integration experience with Rest API.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in education and middleware is highly desirable.
- Provide expert services in software application integration, configuration, management, maintenance, development, and support.
- Lead software projects university-wide and manage Incident, Change, and Problem Management functions.
- Support technical aspects of vendor and Managed Service Provider engagements.
- Provide technical advice and mentorship to Senior Analyst Programmers and Analyst Programmers.
- Collaborate with Strategy and Planning to provide precise project estimations and solution designs.
- Ensure the protection of University data and systems by adhering to published policies and reporting any security issues.
- Competitive salary up to $120k + Super.
