Are you a hands-on Support Engineer/System Administrator? This could be your next challenge.
Verse Group are currently pairing with a managed service provider who believes that people come first. They are a trustworthy employer that don’t believe in micro-managing, trusting you to do your job in return for flexibility, offering an enticing hybrid environment. They are on the hunt for an experienced Level 3 technician to join their team for an initial 3-month contract with the potential to extend into a permanent position.
Being a leader within the team, you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality system support, while providing high-level technical expertise to both internal and external stakeholders. You will also be responsible for mentoring and assisting escalations from level 1 and level 2 engineers as well as overseeing and assisting with the following:

Providing IT infrastructure expertise, using infrastructure management tools to determine load and performance statistics, contributing to planning and implementation of installation work.

Network Support, maintaining the network support process and checking all requests are dealt with according to policies & procedures.

Application support, maintaining the application support process.

Provide security administration, ensuring the security administration process and checks are dealt with in line with procedures.

System software, reviewing updates and identifying those that warrant action being taken.
The right candidate will ideally possess:

Experience working within an MSP environment.

Strong knowledge in Windows Operating Systems, Storage, Networking & Connectivity and Virtualization

Proven experience in remote desktop services, printer management and backup & disaster recovery.
