Lead the development, implementation, maintenance and ongoing support of a global mining organisations process control system platform as it applies to their mine, materials, refinery and port areas.
- 3-6 month contract, then transition into a permanent role
- Negotiable hourly rate dependant on skill
- $250k annual FTE package
- DIDO to Bunbury area, WFH one day a week
- Flexible fortnightly roster – 10hrs x 8 days / 9hrs x 9 days / 8hrs x 10 days

Key responsibilities:
- Administrate and manage the Honeywell Experion and TDC control systems across the Refinery, Mine and Port.
- Effectively manage the platform updates and advises technology strategy for the Experion upgrade program.
- Provide support for site and corporate technology projects with the design and implementation of new control system solutions as required, including uplift and decarbonisation.
- Lead and support variance analysis where deviations have occurred and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create and maintain process control-related procedures, SWIs, and standards.
- Work with consultants, suppliers, and vendors to plan technology updates and to ensure their services are provided in accordance to plans, standards, and specifications.
What you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- Full Australian working rights – this role offers no form of sponsorship or relocation assistance.
- Tertiary level qualification related to Process Control Engineering (such as Electrical/Instrumentation and Control / Process / Chemical Engineering or similar).
- Experience in engineering, implementation, and commissioning of process control applications within the Honeywell control platform or similar DCS.
- Good understanding of Instrumentation and Control communication networks and protocols.
- Experience on the below control systems is highly regarded but not essential:
- Honeywell Process Control Systems – EPKS and TPS & Profitsuite
- Schneider PLC family – ProWORX32 and Unity
- Siemens PCS7
- SEL RTAC
- ABB MicroScada
