You will play a key part in designing, implementing, and validating secure network segmentation strategies across a hybrid enterprise environment. Working closely with Infrastructure & Security teams, you’ll support the remediation and optimisation of legacy firewall configurations while strengthening overall network security architecture.
You’ll work extensively with Palo Alto Networks technologies, alongside Cisco, NSX, F5, and WAF solutions, helping shape secure, Zero Trust–aligned network environments through advanced segmentation and firewall management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and validate secure network segmentation across enterprise and hybrid environments.
- Configure and optimise Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including advanced security policies and threat prevention capabilities.
- Manage and maintain Panorama environments and complex firewall rulebases.
- Support remediation and optimisation of legacy firewall configurations.
- Implement micro-segmentation and Zero Trust–aligned network architectures.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure & Security teams to improve network security posture and operational effectiveness.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation and implementation artefacts.
- Support secure enterprise networking environments across routing, switching, and security infrastructure.
- Work with technologies including Cisco, NSX, F5, and WAF platforms.
What You'll Need
- Extensive hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
- Strong expertise in advanced security policy configuration, threat prevention, Panorama management, and complex rulebase optimisation.
- Proven experience designing and implementing network segmentation strategies, including micro-segmentation and Zero Trust architectures.
- Strong background in enterprise networking technologies including routing, switching, and security best practices.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within Infrastructure & Security teams.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Experience working with Cisco, NSX, F5, and WAF technologies.
