We're supporting a major enterprise client undertaking a large-scale migration from VMware to Microsoft Hyper-V.
We are looking for 2-3 experienced Infrastructure Engineers to join a project team delivering the migration across complex enterprise environments on an initial 6-month contract. This is a hands-on role suited to engineers with strong virtualisation, Windows Server and infrastructure project experience.
You will be responsible for supporting the migration of virtual machines and core infrastructure services from VMware vSphere to Hyper-V, assisting with planning, implementation, troubleshooting and optimisation activities while working closely with internal infrastructure and project teams.
To be successful, you will have proven experience across VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server, clustering, storage and enterprise infrastructure environments. Previous experience delivering migration or transformation projects is highly regarded, along with strong PowerShell scripting and troubleshooting capability.
