About The Role
We’re seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to support the delivery of trusted analytics solutions through Snowflake and Power BI. This role plays a key part in transforming complex business requirements into meaningful analytical outputs that support data driven decision making across the organisation.
In this hands on position, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to define metrics, develop analytical models and deliver high quality dashboards and datasets. You’ll contribute across the full analytics lifecycle, partnering with technical teams to support scalable, production ready solutions while helping improve reporting capability and data maturity across the business.
You Should Have
- Strong experience across analytics, business intelligence or data analysis, with proven capability delivering dashboards and datasets in Power BI
- Strong SQL skills for analytical modelling, including views, CTEs and dimensional modelling
- Solid understanding of dimensional modelling concepts including facts, dimensions, grain and star schema design
- Experience working with cloud data warehouses, ideally Snowflake
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to gather requirements and translate business processes into measurable metric definitions
- Strong documentation capability, including developing clear metric definitions and analytical specifications
- Ability to navigate ambiguity independently while driving clarity and outcomes
- Experience working closely with stakeholders to deliver trusted and consumable analytical products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non technical teams
Desirable
- Exposure to Medallion architecture concepts including Bronze, Silver and Gold layers
- Exposure to dbt or analytics engineering concepts
- Experience supporting reporting and analytics initiatives across complex environments
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective analytical solutions
- Develop high quality Power BI dashboards and datasets aligned to business and operational needs
- Design and maintain SQL models and views within Snowflake to support scalable analytical delivery
- Translate business rules and operational processes into clearly defined and documented metric logic
- Lead feedback sessions with stakeholders and refine reporting solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements
- Partner with technical teams to support the transition of analytical models into production environments
- Maintain documentation including metric definitions, business rules and analytical specifications
- Support ongoing improvements across reporting capability, data quality and analytical processes
- Contribute to broader data and analytics initiatives across the organisation
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across stakeholders and technical teams
