A well-established enterprise organisation is looking for a Senior SAP Functional Specialist to support and enhance critical SAP capabilities across Enterprise Asset Management, Materials Management, and Extended Warehouse Management.
This is a functional role suited to someone who enjoys partnering closely with operational stakeholders, driving process improvements, and delivering practical SAP solutions across maintenance, procurement, and warehousing environments.
You’ll join a collaborative technology function supporting large-scale operational systems, with the opportunity to influence ongoing optimisation initiatives and future platform enhancements.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide functional expertise across SAP EAM, MM, and EWM modules
- Work closely with maintenance, procurement, supply chain, and warehousing teams to gather requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
- Configure and support SAP enhancements, integrations, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyse business processes and identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve system capability
- Support end-to-end solution delivery across incident resolution, change requests, and project initiatives
- Act as the SME for SAP functional queries, providing guidance and support to end users and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and broader project delivery functions to ensure successful outcomes
- Contribute to best practice documentation, knowledge sharing, and process standardisation
- Strong experience working as an SAP Functional Consultant or SAP Specialist within complex enterprise environments
- Proven expertise across SAP EAM, MM, and EWM
- Strong understanding of maintenance planning, procurement lifecycle, inventory, and warehouse management processes
- Experience delivering functional configuration, testing, and business process improvement initiatives
- Ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, operational mindset
- Previous experience working in asset-intensive industries such as mining, energy, utilities, manufacturing, or logistics will be highly regarded
