We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading resources organisation, supporting a pipeline of digital initiatives across rail and mining operations.
This is a Perth-based contract opportunity, offering the chance to work across complex technology projects within a large operational environment, coordinating stakeholders and delivery teams to achieve meaningful business outcomes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager with strong digital delivery experience who enjoys bringing structure to complex initiatives, working across business and technical teams, and driving projects from planning through to implementation.
Working across the project lifecycle, you’ll play a key role in coordinating project activities, managing risks and dependencies, supporting governance and ensuring digital solutions are delivered effectively and integrated into the business.
About the Role:
- Plan and manage digital and technology projects from agreed scope and solution direction through to delivery.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, schedules and delivery documentation.
- Coordinate internal teams, technical resources and key stakeholders to support project execution.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to confirm requirements, priorities and expected outcomes.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and changes throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress against agreed timelines, deliverables and objectives.
- Coordinate technology implementation, integration and transition activities.
- Prepare project reporting and provide updates on progress, key risks, decisions and delivery milestones.
- Facilitate project meetings and stakeholder discussions to maintain alignment and resolve delivery challenges.
- Work with business and technical teams to address issues and ensure solutions meet operational requirements.
- Support governance processes and ensure project documentation, actions and decisions are appropriately maintained.
About You
- You’re an organised and proactive Project Manager who can confidently coordinate digital delivery, manage competing priorities and work across business and technical teams.
- Experience managing digital, technology or transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of project planning, delivery governance, risk management and implementation.
- Experience coordinating project teams, resources, timelines and dependencies.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to translate business objectives into practical delivery plans and outcomes.
- Experience managing project reporting, issues, risks and change throughout the project lifecycle.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to keep projects moving in complex environments.
- Experience across resources, mining, rail or other large operational environments will be highly regarded.
