About You
We're looking for someone with;
- Proven experience delivering large or complex projects, ideally in a government or regulated environment
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budget, forecasting, and vendor management
- Confident stakeholder management, with the ability to align executives and cross functional teams
- Solid understanding of project governance, risk, and change control frameworks
- Experience mentoring project delivery staff, with a relevant PM qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM) highly regarded
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery Ownership: Manage scope, schedule, budget (CAPEX/OPEX), resources, dependencies, and benefits realisation
- Governance: Establish steering committees, decision logs, RAID management, change control, and stage gates
- Financial Management: Own forecasting, budget burn tracking, variance analysis, and vendor invoice/SOW management
- Risk & Issue Leadership: Quantify impact, define mitigations, and escalate early to protect delivery outcomes
- Quality & Go Live: Define acceptance criteria, lead UAT and go live readiness, and conduct post implementation reviews
