Project Controller

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Project Controller to support project financial performance and compliance across a portfolio of communications infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with the Program Manager, you’ll play a key role in cost control, reporting, and commercial insights.

• Monitor project budgets, costs, and schedules in line with contractual obligations

• Prepare progress and financial reports including earned value and variance analysis

• Support project teams with forecasting, milestone tracking, and close-out activities

• Conduct project performance analysis and identify risks or improvement opportunities

• Partner with Finance and Project Managers on monthly WIP, invoicing, and claims

• Ensure data integrity in ERP systems and assist with Power BI dashboards where applicable

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within Mining, Oil & Gas, or Construction

• Strong Excel and data analysis skills; ERP experience essential

• Experience with project controls, earned value, and cost forecasting

• Proactive and organised, with strong communication and stakeholder skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering or related field (desirable)

• Power BI experience is an advantage
