About the Role
You'll be responsible for designing and implementing security controls, responding to cyber security incidents, assessing vulnerabilities, and providing technical guidance across infrastructure, applications and enterprise technology environments. Working closely with technical teams and senior stakeholders, you'll help drive security best practice while contributing to the ongoing evolution of the organisation's cyber security capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and validate security configurations across enterprise security infrastructure.
- Research, develop and implement cyber security solutions aligned with organisational security standards.
- Assess vulnerabilities, identify cyber threats and implement security controls to reduce risk.
- Provide security advice throughout the design and delivery of IT and OT infrastructure and applications.
- Respond to cyber security incidents through containment, remediation and recovery activities.
- Develop automated security controls and engineering solutions to strengthen organisational resilience.
- Provide technical guidance to senior stakeholders on security architecture and cyber risk.
- Mentor team members and promote cyber security best practice across the organisation.
What You'll Need
- Extensive experience across cyber security engineering, architecture or infrastructure security.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and cyber security best practices.
- Experience working across complex IT environments, with exposure to Operational Technology (OT) considered highly desirable.
- Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST CSF, COBIT and TOGAF.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CEH, CSSA or GIAC are highly regarded.
