About the Role
An opportunity is available for a Senior Frontend / Full-Stack Engineer to support the development and delivery of software solutions within the Palantir Foundry platform.
This requirement has arisen to maintain delivery velocity, ensure code quality, and support key integration workstreams within an established engineering team. This role will operate as a hands-on contributor, working across development, integration, and deployment within a secure environment.
You will work closely with engineers and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions, contributing to both frontend development and broader full-stack functionality. The role involves working within existing codebases, supporting ongoing development, and contributing to release and deployment processes.
There is flexibility around engagement, with both contract and permanent opportunities available depending on candidate preference. While the initial requirement may be shorter term, there is approximately 18 months of work in the pipeline, providing strong longer-term stability.
You Should Have
• Strong commercial experience as a Frontend or Full-Stack Engineer
• Experience working within existing engineering teams and codebases
• Ability to operate in a collaborative, low-ego environment
• Strong communication skills, particularly when working across stakeholders
• Ability to contribute across both development and integration workstreams
Technical Requirements
Must Have (Essential)
• Strong commercial experience in React frontend development
• Proven experience working with the Palantir Foundry platform
• Active NV1 security clearance (critical requirement)
• Experience with API integrations
• Ability to work across both development and data workflows within a platform environment
Nice to Have
• Experience working in secure or regulated environments
• Familiarity with secure gateway patterns and configurations
• Prior experience working in contractor or embedded team environments
• Strong written communication skills, including documentation of integration and deployment processes
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct structured code reviews and provide actionable feedback
• Establish and maintain QA standards and testing processes
• Define and implement test cases across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Set up and configure deployment pipelines and manage release processes
• Ensure reliable builds and environment management across development stages
• Lead or support authentication implementation, including OAuth and SSO
• Work with stakeholders to align on authentication architecture and requirements
• Set up and manage integrations with external systems, including AWS SES and S3
• Ensure integrations are robust, tested, and well documented
• Contribute to deployment documentation and overall delivery processes
Team and Reporting Structure
You will work closely with an established engineering team, contributing to ongoing development and delivery.
The role involves collaboration with internal engineers, stakeholders, and external contacts where required to support integrations and delivery alignment.
Salary / Rate
Up to $180k plus superannuation for Senior candidates
The Benefits
• Opportunity to work within the Palantir Foundry platform on active delivery
• Flexibility across contract or permanent engagement
• Approximately 18 months of work in the pipeline, providing strong continuity
