About the Role
A Finance Systems Administrator contract position is available within a collaborative project environment supporting a major Oracle EPM implementation across an enterprise finance systems landscape.
The team is currently implementing Oracle EPM within a broader finance systems environment, requiring additional support across stakeholder liaison, systems administration, finance related queries, and day to day implementation activities.
The broader environment includes exposure to enterprise finance systems, accounting platforms, project delivery activities, and ongoing collaboration with finance and project stakeholders.
You will operate as a hands on contributor, responsible for supporting the Oracle EPM implementation while assisting with stakeholder engagement, finance systems administration, issue resolution, and broader project support activities.
This role will suit someone who enjoys operating within a collaborative project environment, while remaining heavily involved in hands on support, stakeholder interaction, and finance systems delivery activities.
This is initially a six month contract, with budgets approved for a broader twelve month engagement, making extension or conversion to a longer term fixed term arrangement possible for strong performers depending on project outcomes and business requirements.
You Should Have
• Around three or more years of total commercial experience
• Experience working within finance or accounting systems environments
• Strong problem solving capability and the ability to assist users and stakeholders effectively
• Ability to operate effectively within a collaborative project environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with finance and project stakeholders
• Understanding of finance and accounting processes
Technical Requirements
Must Have
• Experience working with finance or accounting systems
• Understanding of finance and accounting environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capability
• Ability to resolve queries and support implementation activities
• Minimum six months exposure to finance systems environments
Nice to Have
• Oracle EPM experience
• Hyperion experience
• TechnologyOne exposure
• PeopleSoft exposure
• Broader enterprise finance systems experience
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with the Oracle EPM implementation project
• Support the transition from the current on-premise solution
• Liaise closely with finance stakeholders and the broader project team
• Assist with resolving finance systems related queries and issues
• Support day to day implementation and administration activities
• Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to support delivery timelines
• Assist users throughout the implementation and transition process
Working Arrangements
• Hybrid working model with one day per week in the office
• Four days per week work from home
• Flexible working arrangements available
Rate
Dayrate of up to $800 per day inclusive of superannuation, with flexibility depending on candidate experience, finance systems exposure, and overall alignment to the project requirements.
