About the Role
A Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Lead position is available within a growing organisation undertaking a significant platform transformation.
The business is now looking to bring in a senior, lead-level individual who can take ownership of the platform, guide the team, and contribute across both strategic and hands-on delivery.
The environment consists of two key streams: a product team responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing applications, and a project team delivering new capability across Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. This role will operate across both, with a roughly equal split between project delivery and BAU support.
You will be involved in early-stage development of new platform capabilities while also ensuring a smooth transition into the existing environment. This includes guiding best practice usage of the platform, contributing to architecture and strategy, and supporting the team to deliver effectively.
This role will suit someone who can combine technical depth with leadership capability, take ownership of the platform and team, and operate confidently across both delivery and strategic planning.
This is a permanent opportunity within a collaborative team, with strong growth potential as the platform and broader capability expands.
You Should Have
• Around eight years of commercial experience, ideally within Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
• Strong leadership capability, with the ability to guide teams and influence ways of working
• Experience operating across both development and strategic/architectural responsibilities
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership of systems, teams, and outcomes
Technical Requirements
Must Have
• Strong experience with Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform (both essential)
• Custom development experience across these platforms
• Experience working across development, architecture, and platform strategy
• Ability to contribute hands-on while also providing technical direction
Nice to Have
• AI exposure, including tools such as Copilot or Claude
• Integration experience across Power Platform and external systems
• Exposure to niche or specialised tools
Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical and architectural advice on Dynamics 365 best practices
• Lead the ongoing development and support of the Dynamics 365 CRM platform
• Collaborate with product and technical teams to design and develop features
• Deliver enhancements while adhering to strong development practices
• Contribute to strategic planning, roadmapping, and estimation sessions
• Provide technical direction and review team deliverables
• Develop support documentation
• Leverage AI and emerging tools to improve delivery, testing, and support outcomes
Working Arrangements
• Five days per week in the office (Perth)
• Core hours are typically 9:00am to 4:00pm, with some flexibility
Salary
$170,000 – $190,000 + superannuation + bonus (20%)
There is flexibility for the right candidate, with potential to go higher.
The Benefits
• Opportunity to step into a lead role across a critical platform
• Exposure to both BAU and large-scale transformation project work
• Ability to influence platform strategy and ways of working
• Growing environment with strong future focus on AI and platform expansion
• Clear pathway towards an architectural role over time
