About the Role
An Integration Engineer position is available within a multidisciplinary engineering team supporting the integration, testing and deployment of complex technology systems within a large-scale operational environment.
The team is currently undertaking a significant program of work focused on validating integrated software and hardware systems, supporting deployment activities, resolving technical issues and ensuring critical systems operate effectively in the field.
The broader environment includes exposure to systems integration, software engineering, testing activities and collaboration with vendors, engineers and technical stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
You will operate as a hands on contributor, responsible for supporting integration, testing and deployment activities while troubleshooting technical issues, resolving system challenges and contributing to the successful delivery of complex integrated solutions.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working across software, hardware, testing and systems integration rather than focusing purely on software development.
This is initially a 12 month contract with strong extension potential. There is an ongoing pipeline of project work planned within the broader technology environment, creating longer term opportunities for strong performers.
You Should Have
• Around five or more years of total commercial technology experience
• Commercial experience within Systems Integration, Integration Engineering or a similar role
• Experience working across both software and hardware environments
• Strong understanding of complex integrated systems
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting and analytical capability
• Ability to understand and support end to end technical solutions

• Engineering project experience gained through university or personal projects
Key Responsibilities
• Support testing and validation activities across integrated software and hardware systems
• Conduct shakedown testing and troubleshooting within a live operational environment
• Investigate and analyse system issues, identifying root causes and recommending solutions
• Work closely with vendors and technical stakeholders to resolve integration challenges
• Perform debugging, bug fixing and enhancement activities where required
• Assist with deployment and ongoing support of technology solutions
• Develop a strong understanding of end to end system functionality and interactions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration and testing processes
Working Arrangements
• FIFO 8/6 roster
• Site based role
• Initial 12 month contract
• ASAP start available
Rate
