Verse Group is partnering with an established and growing Perth-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) to recruit two (2) Graduate IT Support Engineers to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for recent IT graduates looking to get their foot in the door and build a long-term career in technology.

Unlike some entry-level IT roles where you might be limited to repetitive tasks, working within an MSP provides exposure to a broad range of clients, technologies and technical challenges.

You'll work alongside experienced IT professionals, develop practical troubleshooting skills and gain valuable hands-on experience across modern business technology environments.

Most importantly, our client is hiring for attitude and potential, not years of technical experience.

The Role
As a Graduate IT Support Engineer, you'll be part of a team delivering technical support to a diverse range of business customers.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing Level 1 IT support to customers via phone, email and remote support tools.
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
  • Assisting with Microsoft 365, Windows and general desktop support.
  • Logging, managing and resolving support tickets.
  • Escalating more complex technical issues to senior engineers.
  • Assisting with workstation setups, user onboarding and IT deployments.
  • Building positive relationships with customers through excellent service.
  • Developing your technical knowledge through hands-on experience and guidance from experienced colleagues.
About You

We're looking for two bright, personable and motivated graduates who are genuinely excited about starting a career in IT.

You'll ideally have:
  • Recently completed, or be close to completing, an IT-related university degree, diploma or TAFE qualification.
  • Previous customer-facing employment experience while studying, ideally in hospitality, retail or a similar service environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Confidence speaking with customers and helping solve problems.
  • A genuine interest in technology and troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, networking or IT support fundamentals.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and take ownership of tasks.
Previous commercial IT experience is not essential.

We place significant value on candidates who have balanced their studies with part-time employment, particularly in busy customer service environments.
If you've worked in hospitality or retail, understand how to communicate with different people and know the importance of delivering great service, we'd love to hear from you.

What's on Offer?
  • Two permanent opportunities with an established Perth MSP.
  • A genuine entry point into the IT industry.
  • Exposure to a broad range of customers, systems and technologies.
  • Hands-on learning alongside experienced IT professionals.
  • The opportunity to build skills across infrastructure, cloud, networking and IT support.
  • A collaborative, customer-focused working environment.
  • A solid foundation for long-term career progression within the technology industry.
  • Convenient location, ideal for candidates living South of the River.
