Join a well-resourced, high-grade gold operation in WA as their IT Field Systems Administrator who's ready to own the tech on site. This isn't a help desk role… you'll be the go-to for everything from servers and network infrastructure to Wi-Fi, comms racks, and VHF connectivity, managing a full site technology footprint with real autonomy and a team behind you that enjoys being out there together.
- 8:6 Roster, day shift only(12 hours)
- Fly in Thursday AM & fly out Thursday PM
- $122,000 base + superannuation
What you'll be doing:
You'll be the boots-on-ground IT presence at site, working as part of a team of 3 on site and backed by 3 in Perth.
- Log, resolve, and escalate tickets through the ITSM platform
- Support and maintain desktops, servers, and network infrastructure (Hyper-V, VMware, Windows, Dell)
- Manage site printers, Wi-Fi access points, antennas, and VHF/UHF connectivity
- Install and set up comms racks, server and storage appliances, and network equipment
- Handle site-based procurement and stock management
- Create and maintain support documentation
- Liaise with the Perth corporate IT team on project delivery
- Act as the escalation point for all tech queries across a varied user base
What you'll need to be successful:
- Full Australian working rights - no sponsorship or relocation assistance available
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Solid hands-on experience across Windows environments, virtualisation (Hyper-V/VMware), and Dell hardware
- Strong networking fundamentals and the ability to troubleshoot independently
- Highly organised, accountable, and comfortable working autonomously on site
- Previous mining experience is highly desirable
- VHF/UHF or leaky feeder experience – highly desirable but not required
