Business System Analyst

Our client is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join their Enterprise Applications team, supporting the design, improvement, and delivery of digital products and services across a large and complex organisation. This role will work closely with stakeholders to analyse business needs, define solutions, and contribute to the development of robust and scalable systems.

• Lead requirements gathering, user story creation, and business process redesign

• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to elicit functional and technical requirements

• Conduct gap analyses and propose system or process improvements

• Write and execute functional testing plans, including UAT

• Establish testing strategies aligned with project delivery

• Support delivery of both new and existing products in Agile and plan-driven environments

• Provide mentorship to junior analysts and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

• Develop SQL queries to support data analysis, reporting, and system validations

• Tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience

• Strong background in business/systems analysis within complex enterprise environments

• Skilled in both Agile and traditional delivery frameworks

• Experience with business process improvement, integration, and modelling techniques

• Demonstrated ability to lead analysis, testing, and documentation for enterprise systems

• Strong SQL query writing and data analysis skills

• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and documentation skills
