Join a global higher education institute’s Digital, Technology & Solutions team on a permanent, full-time basis – TWO positions available!
Salary:
$133,991 - $141,543 + 17% super
$165,605.31 salary package (you can opt to have a higher base and regular super contributions)
3.5% salary increase in July 2025
Duties:
- Collaborate with digital partners and other stakeholders to design technology solutions that meet the needs of the University and align with the strategic direction.
- Evaluate and assess new products and patterns and contribute to the overall technology strategy.
- Full lifecycle engagement with product delivery and engineering teams.
- Create, review, and maintain solution design artefacts, ensuring solutions comply with standards and applicable design principles spanning the key architecture domains.
- Promote an agile approach to design and development and ensure that the technical design supports and incremental development process.
Requirements:
- APPLICANTS MUST HAVE FULL WORKING RIGHTS IN AUSTRALIA – this role offers no Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.
- Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect in a large and complex IT environment.
- Successful track record of taking solutions from inception through design to delivery.
- Experience spanning a variety of mainstream technologies, architecture domains and design patterns, with expertise in at least one
of the following:
- Application
- Data
- Integration
- Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
- Proficiency with and certifications in the following:
- Architecture frameworks, modelling languages and tools – TOGAF etc.
- Stakeholder engagement across various levels and business areas.
- Cloud computing – AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Software development methodologies and best practices.
