Join one of WA’s most recognisable organisations, on a permanent, full-time basis, as an experienced Mine Controller / Builder for Autonomous Haulage Systems. This position will be based out of their Integrated Remote Operations Centre near the Perth Airport, but will move to West Perth within the next 6-12 months when their HQ relocates closer to the CBD.

- $150k + super + bonuses + shift allowances
Roster:
- 7 on : 7 off - 12 hour shifts
- 3 days, 4 nights, 7 off for 3 months, then
- 4 days, 3 nights, 7 off for 3 months
What you’ll be doing each shift:
- Monitor and control the autonomous fleet and manage access of authorised personnel and vehicles within the autonomous operating zone
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of mining activities
- Monitor haul cycles and use control systems and dashboards to optimise production processes and minimise downtime
- Respond promptly to any operational issues, providing solutions and support to the team
- Maintain accurate records of all mining activities and report on performance metrics
- Ensure adherence to integrated remote operations policies and procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
What you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- Full Australian working rights
- Previous experience operating and controlling an Autonomous Haulage System – Cat MineStar Command or Komatsu FrontRunner experience required
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills with the ability to make strong stakeholder relationships
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of mine site safety and operational procedures
- Proficiency in using computers and software
