Job Description

Verse Group are currently recruiting a unique and rarely available HR Advisor role to work for a fun loving, hard-working tech company with a strong global footprint in their industry.

Can you work with an eclectic mix of people?  Can you facilitate HR functions across multiple time-zones and locations?  Do you have experience working in the Information Technology or Digital arena?

This Sydney CBD based role requires an experienced HR professional with demonstrated advisory skills, this is a hands on role with full involvement in contributing to HR policies and procedures, along with every day HR issues such as IR, recruitment, onboarding and training.

The role:
• Provide HR leadership to the Senior Management team and staff
• Work closely with the various stakeholders HR is executed in line with policy and law
• Work with line managers to ensure full compliance with process and procedures
• Provide leadership/guidance in all HR matters aligned to the company’s strategic and business plans
• Become the local champion for employee relations, performance management and organisational development
• Develop and maintain an effective HR policy and procedure framework
• Coordinate employment and recruitment process, including position descriptions, contracts, selection criteria, induction training and interviews.
 
The successful candidate will have:
• The ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people.  
• Significant experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in establishing order and process within HR, whilst fire-fighting and managing day to day activities. 
• A tertiary qualification in Human Resources management
• Demonstrable contemporary IT skills e.g. online HR tools, Google docs and be social media savvy.
• Ability and willingness to travel as required.
