Desktop Support Analyst
We’re looking for a senior support desk/junior desktop person who is ready to take the next step in their career, and join an enterprise sized ASX listed construction and engineering company at their head office based in Perth. This opportunity is perfect for someone that wants to grow into an Infrastructure Engineer role in a couple of years, there is a lot of ongoing project work and a lot of opportunities to upskill and develop your career!
The Company:
Our client is an engineering-led global specialist in construction, civil projects, asset services and mining. They are known for solving complex problems across the entire asset lifecycle. After a recent acquisition, they’ve grown exponentially from 900 IT users to 1200+ and plan to continue expanding over the next few years. The IT team is made up of 5x internal and 4x external helpdesk.
The Position:
They’re looking for a desktop support analyst who is motivated, proactive, easy-going, works well in a team and is able to think quickly on their feet when problems arise. You’ll be helping with the ongoing support and roll out of company wide IT systems, and providing second level technical support to all company IT users.

Permanent full-time position with a base salary up to $80,000 depending on experience, plus super and annual pay reviews with bonuses

Get the chance to travel regionally and interstate to set up new offices and project sites

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:

At least 1 years’ experience in a similar IT role

Experience with Active Directory, Windows, O365

Experience working in a similar enterprise environment

Strong knowledge in the areas of Incident Management and ITIL Practices (ITIL qualification not necessary)

Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills
-
Very fast paced team environment, so you’ll need to have good interpersonal skills, be enthusiastic and willing to learn

Knowledge on construction, mining and enterprise policies, processes and procedures etc. will be helpful, but not essential

The Location:
The head office is located just 10 minutes from the CBD in one of Perth's most vibrant suburbs. There’s lots of public transport options available running through the area, easily accessed from the city and Fremantle. Public parking is also readily available.
